Traralgon

Traralgon is the largest city in the La Trobe Valley. The town was first surveyed in 1877, and grew as a regional centre in its rich, fertile settings and its main industries today are paper making and electricity generation (along with Morwell). Victory Park on the Traralgon Creek has a miniature railway and generally a popular stopping point with easy access off the highway. Traralgon would have to be the most picturesque of the La Trobe cities - the CBD is full of life, well looked after and a pleasure to visit.
