Yackandandah

Yackandandah is a smaller and quieter version of Beechworth - perhaps more attractive if that was possible. Nestled in a small valley with a largish hill to the north-west the town also dates back to the 1850's gold rush times and about 90% of the buildings in the town reflect this - the town has been heritage listed as a result. A great place to stay at if exploring the goldfields region, Ovens Valley and Vic ski resorts - quite central and also very relaxing to return to.
