Our private waters have over five kilometres of meandering
shoreline. Five trout filled lakes are set amongst 900 acres of native
bush. You may be experienced and want to take in the dawn
rise, or you may be a beginner and need some tuition. Whatever your level
of expertise, Launceston Lakes has what you are looking
for. Brown Trout search the shores for food early in the mornings and
evenings, while "Rainbows" cruise the open waters ever ready
for that well presented fly. For those learning, we have sheltered water.
There is a comfortable day room with rest-rooms, and kitchen facilities
for tea and coffee. Sheltered BBQ's near the large lake provide an excellent
location for family outings - so bringing a picnic hamper is always recommended.
Fish all day, cook your catch on our BBQ hotplate and enjoy a sumptuous
meal.

Beginners practice fly casting technique at a specially prepared pond,
under the watchful eye of our trained guide. After mastering casting you
can venture out onto the main lakes for some serious fishing alone. Tackle
