Beereega Cabaret (b. 1986)
SIRE: BALWILL SELECT (IMP.) - DAM: BEEREEGA CHLOE
The purchase of two registered Clydesdale mares from the Hillend Stud from Marjorca, Victoria in 1955 founded the Beereega Clydesdale Stud at Sunbury. Subsequent matings to stallions including Heathermount Crescent, Valetta Flash Imprint and Valetta Flash Prince provided progeny that have contributed to the continued breeding program at Beereega. Other stallions used in later years included Box Valley Imprint and Ardloch Flashlight. The purchase of Box Valley Earle in 1975 as a yearling colt at the Royal Melbourne Show later provided stud stock that were shown at both the Royal Melbourne Show and the Royal Easter Show in Sydney with success from the early 1980's.
The females from those years were later mated to Balwill Select (Imp.) and Valmont Scotsman in the 1980's, which have provided the present base of breeding mares at Beereega.
Stallions used in the following and recent years inlude Beereega Regency, Beereega Carlyle - by Balwill Select (Imp.), Balwill Knockout (Imp.) and Greendykes Monty (Imp.).
Royal Melbourne Show appearances began in 1962 for a couple of years, then recommenced in 1979. Current brood mares have won broad ribbons at RMS and their progeny with other stock are continually placed in their age classes at RMS.

Beereega Fairbairne (b. 1998)

Purchase of some land in the Sunbury area in 1938 and then some broader acreage later in the 1940's necessitated the presence of some working draught horses which were used in various horse drawn farm vehicles by Harry and Mary Beer. This love for the heavy horse then led into the formation of the registered Clydesdale Stud. The horses are now bred for show, pleasure and breeding purposes.
Horses sold in recent years have included five bay geldings to Carlton United Breweries to both the Victorian and New South Wales teams, also two bay geldings to Coopers Brewery in South Australia.
Other horse sales have been to breeders in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania.

Beereega Clydesdale Stud have been strong supporters of the Annual National Clydesdale Sale at Wodonga and have topped the sale with horses sold, as recent as 2000.
Beereega Clydesdale Stud also attend many Victorian Agricultural Shows, and the Annual Feature Show for Foals, Fillies and Mares at Castlemaine with success.
