corporal with the Royal Australian Army Provost Corps (AFV Provost
Unit). He was
shot and killed in a ambush in Baria, Phuoc Tuy on June 21 1966.

private rifleman with 3RAR, when he was killed in an enemy attack on
Fire Support Base Coral, Bien Hoa in the early hours of May 26 1968

Robert Buchan,22. The
rifleman private with 6RAR was shot during enemy contact with the enemy
just before midday on decenber 11 1969 in Phuoc Tuy.

John H. Bullman,22.
Wounded from a friendly artillery drop short in Phuoc Tuy on 20 July
1970 he died at 1 Field Hospital, Vung Tau the following night.

Robert Burns,22. The
lance corporal died of gunshot wounds in Phuoc Tuy on September 13,
1968, 12 days before his 23rd birthday,during Operation Hawkesbury.

Raymond Butterworth,
Early on June 17, 1968 a friendly aircraft was detected approaching
near Cap Lay, off Vietnam, but the US plane fired a missle which struck
the Hobart amidships, and killed OD Butterworth.

Basil E. Byrne,32. He
died of a coronary occlusion in his sleep in Vung Tau, in the early
hours of October 31, 1968
|

Robert A. Byrne,22 The
private rifleman with 4RAR was wounded in Phuoc Tuy on the morning of
August 31, 1968, and died at the Repatriation General Hospital Concord
NSW on February 11, 1969. His Army documents says he was "blown up by a
mine".

John A. Campbell,21. The
private rifleman with 3RAR was killed in action in Bien Hoa Province on
August 3, 1968.

Hugh Carlyle,21. A
trooper with B Squadron 3 Cavalry Regiment, he was killed in action
when his APC was hit by anti-tank rockets in Phuoc Tuy February 18,
1970 during a seven hour long battle in the Long Hai hills.

Ronald T. Carroll,31.
The platoon sergeant with 3RAR was killed in action in Bien Hoa
Province August,4, 1968
|

William T. Carroll,21.
He was posted to 1RAR and went to Vietnam with the first troops in
1965. He was the first troop to die in Vietnam when a grenade fell from
his pouch at Bien Hoa airbase and exploded June 26, 1965.

John Carruthers , 28. He
died at the US Field Hospital, Saigon ,February 24, 1967, of wounds
from a mine blast received three days earlier, six weeks before his
tour of duty was to end.

Robert C. Carver,24. He
was in Vietnam only seven weeks when the plane in which he was the
navigator failed to return to base at Pham Rhan Bay November 3 1970.
Despite an intensive search, the plane was never found

Anthony A. Casadio, 22.
Lieutenant Casadio and Petty Officer Phillips were killed when their
EMU light fire team were flying at tree top level to avoid VC snipers.
The helicopter was hit by an RPG, crashed into the trees and exploded
on August 21, 1968 near Blackhorse.

Albert W. Casey,20. He
was in Vietnam for three months with B Squadron 3 Cavalry Regiment when
the APC he was driving was ambushed in the jungle in Phuoc Tuy Province
on October 22 1969 and killed by an anti-tank rocket.

Gary Owen Cashion,19.
The private with 7RAR was killed by lightning while on ambush patrol in
Phuoc Tuy Province June, 16, 1970.

Cassano, 22. The private with 5RAR was killed in action in Bien Hoa
Province december 7, 1969

Peter A. Chant, 29. The lance corporal with 9RAR was killed in action
in Bien Hoa Province February 14, 1969

Rodney S. Chapman, 22.
The private with 2RAR completed a unit drivers course and was employed
as a driver when he died of illness, 1 Field Hospital, Vung Tau, April
28, 1971.

Thomas W. Checkley,28.
He was accidentally killed when he fell from a vehicle returning from
Vung Tau, August 5 1966.

Christopher Clarke,20 .
The 1RAR strecher bearer private was killed in a booby trap bomb blast
at Ben Cat, Binh Duong Province, January 8 1968.

Donald M. Clark, 21. On
February 21, 1967 the APC in which he was travelling hit a mine at the
base of the Long Hai hills and overturned. He was evacuated to the US
36 Evac. Hospital at Vung Tau, but died before he arrived there.

Raymaond D. Clark,21.
The private with 6RAR was killed during a contact in a bunker system
March 8, 1970.

Peter E. Clements,21.
On the night of August 18 1966 while relieving troops at the Battle of
Long Tan Corporal Clements was fataly wounded . He died at 36 Evac.
Hospital, Vung Tau nine days later.

Richard W. Cliff, 21.
The gunner with 1 Field Regiment died at 26 US Evac. Hospital of wounds
received at Baria, Phuoc Tuy Province, from a New Zealand artillery
drop short .

John R. Cock, 29. He
served with 9RAR and was killed in action in Phuoc Tuy province,
January 19 1969.

Kevin G. Coles, 21. He
was a rifleman private with 3RAR when killed by an enemy mine explosion
on March 22 1968, in Phuoc Tuy, the day before his second wedding
aniversary.

The private with 5RAR died of frag wounds at 3 Field Hospital, Saigon
October 25, 1969
