Sqn Night Loc loc 3 = at this point 1 vehicle had been sunk and was in the sea Sqn – had crossed river and 1 section was still at loc one as it got to dark before they crossed..More from Gavan Vigar It was 3 Section as I was on the 33, Sgt Blue Boreland's track and a couple were non swimmers so they did not cross. You will note the Zodiac on the land rover, I believe that was used to go out to the sunken vehicle, which still had it's turret above the water and retrieve personal stuff and any other items so the VC could not get them. |
