The following will now become "Standard Procedure", in the event of inclement / bad weather on the nominated branch ride days.
In the event of inclement or unfavourable motorcycling weather, IN THE TOWN OF INVERELL on the morning an hour before the ride assembly or departure times, please tune your radio to;

(1188 kHz on the AM dial)
at approx. 8:00am that particular morning, an announcement should be made to inform Inverell branch members and interested members of the public of the cancellation of that particular day's ride. If you think you have missed the announcement, or you are unable to receive AM Radio 2NZ at your location, please telephone the branch president, branch secretary or the ride co-ordinator for that particular ride day for confirmation and to discuss the weather situation, or any other relevant information.
That particular day's ride WILL then be re-scheduled for the following Sunday, if the weather allows.

Moree Muster
Saturday, 2nd to Sunday, 3rd May 2009
On the first weekend in May I headed over to the annual Moree Muster. There were about 120 bikes assembled at the Mehi caravan park for a fun weekend. The Friday night started with a camp oven meal and a meet and greet. A DJ entertained us with some good music. Saturday morning was breakfast at Mehi and then the thunder run through town followed by an observation ride around town (definitely needed a pillion for this, it's hard to read a map and ride). Then a bikekana back at Mehi. The games were great and most people participated in some of the events. That afternoon was the show and shine. Saturday night dinner was held at the aero club and was a fun night with the prizes given out for the various events of the day. The food was good and everyone enjoyed themselves. Hope more of you can come next year.
Gravesend

On an overcast morning 5 riders assembled in Byron Street for a ride to Gravesend. We had a little rain on the way but not enough to dampen our spirits. The next 6 months ride calendar was discussed and approved and then we had lunch at the cafe. Those in attendance were Geoff, Phil, Mark, Steve and Pip.
Both "Ride Report" articles were submitted by the Branch Secretary, Pip McHugh.

Monthly rides, and a BBQ before departure, are normally held on the first Saturday of the month around 12:30pm, assemble in front of "Inverell Motorcycles", Lot 1 - 2 Swanbrook Road, Inverell. New riders welcome.
