The Australian School of Needlework currently offers textile research journeys to France and United Kingdom.

Interested textile enthusiasts can enjoy the ambience of the Villa des Roses with well-known contemporary art embroiderer Val Holmes and her husband Claude Vallin of Nantes. www.embroidery-in-france.com

The British workshops will be with the Royal School of Needlework in Hampton Court Palace Surrey. This year 2009 we have one day – From 2010 the Royal School have offered us 6 days stitching – a chance to share the luxury of embroidery in prestigious Hampton Court.

Currently we are seeking expressions of interest for our purpose holidays. For the United Kingdom sessions, a weekend excursion will bridge the classes with the Royal School of Needlework.
