Is it safe for me to send you my fingerprint? Everyone leaves
their fingerprints everywhere they touch. As your Fingerprint Collection
Kit has a unique order number, your name and address do not need to
appear anywhere (unless you have ordered a Fingerprint Graphic with text
including your name). If you want to be completely assured of security,
return your Fingerprint Collection Kit via Registered Mail. |
|
2 |
Will you keep a copy of my fingerprint on file? No. All original
fingerprints will be shredded and electronic copies will be deleted
three months after your artwork has been delivered to you. |
| 3 |
Is this site secure? There is no security on this site as we do
not collect any personal information from you. Payments are made through
the secure Paypal site.
What is Paypal? |
| 4 |
What if I change my mind about the shape, size or colour? Not a
problem. Your order is not final until we receive your completed Fingerprint
Collection Kit. |
| 5 |
Can you get it framed for me? No. Framing is dependant on your
style and taste and we don't want to pass along the extra delivery
costs. |
| 6 |
Why does it cost so much? Preparing a fingerprint for large scale
printing is extremely time consuming and each artist is committed to
completing a perfect piece of art. |
| 7 |
How long before I receive my order? Allow 30 days for delivery. In
most cases you will receive your order before this, but sometimes a
fingerprint may require more detailed work before it is sent. We will
contact you if there are any problems and of course, feel free to
contact us. |

What is RGB and HSL? RGB stands for Red Green
Blue and HSL stands for Hue Saturation and Luminescence. Choosing
different percentages of each colour will produce an exact match to the
colour you want for your Fingerprint Graphic. |
| 9 |
I don't like any of the colours on the Fingerprint Collection Kit
and I don't know how to provide RGB or HSL. You don't need to be a
computer graphics expert to choose your colour. In fact, you don't need
to use a graphics program at all, you can use Microsoft Word, Excel or
similar type of program. Here's how:
- Open your program of choice.
- Click on the drop down arrow on the font colour icon, this will
bring up a small selection of colours.
- Click on More Colours.
- Click on Custom or in some programs All Colours
- This will bring up a box filled with colours.
- Click your mouse near the colour you would like and then move
the slider up and down until you find the perfect colour.
- Note the numbers provided beneath the box filled with colours
directly onto your Fingerprint Collection Kit.
