Spiritual Warfare Prayer


I will put on the whole armor of God, that I may be able to stand against the wiles, schemes, plots, and the wicked plans of the devil. I do not war against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I will be sober and vigilant, because the adversary, the devil as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour.

In the battlefield of the mind I walk in the flesh but I do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of my warefare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. I will bring my thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

In the battlefield of the mind I will keep my heart with all diligence, for out of it springs the issues of life. I will guard my attitudes and emotions.

In the battlefiend of the mouth I will remember that life and death are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit. Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth and keep watch over the doors of my lips. I will not speak doubt and unbelief.

I will not allow Satan to temp me with the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. I will put on the whole armor of God, that I may be able to stand in the evil days.

I will gird my loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and shod my feet with the gospel of peace. I will life up my shield of faith, which will quence all the fiery darts of the wicked one. I will put on the helmet of salvation and use the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. I will pray always in the spirit. I will be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
