DOOMWATCH

(1970)

Department of Measurement of Scientific Work (Doomwatch). Under the leadership of Doctor Spencer Quist, the Doomwatch team struggled to watch on the environment and supervise government and private sector research in an attempt to prevent pollution and other disasters that might be caused by the misuse of new scientific developments, discoveries and technology. Also known as "Doom Watch". A movie "Doomwatch" in 1972 and a tele-pilot "Doomwatch: Winter Angel" followed in 1999.
