HEAVEN ON EARTH

(1998)

When a computer consultant's business fails and he discovers that his spouse is having an affair, he decides to take his spouse and their daughter back to live with his spouses grandfather in a remote, religious community where their daughter was born. As time passes, the consultant's influence with the community grows. After he has a vision from God he is elected leader when the current leader dies. From this point on, his power grows, as does his domination of the community. He begins to think of himself as God. The community realises that they have unleashed a demonic evil in their midst.
