MIGHTY MORPHIN
POWER RANGERS

(1993)

An inter-dimensional being Zordon, chooses five teenagers to morph into powerful warriors drawn from the spirit of dinosaurs, protecting the world from the forces of space witch Rita Repulsa; with the use of their giant transforming robots. This series uses Japanese television series as templates; changing the story lines, replacing the Japanese cast with US cast, but retaining all the masked ranger - monster fighting scenes. Season two of this series uses the Japanese series "Gosei Sentai Dairanger" as its template. A feature movie was released on 30 June 1995 - "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie".
