Well, this is my site, and it is always under development.....
My name is Stewart Arthur, I am 21 years old, and I now own a Toyota 4Runner.
I picked it up at a car yard for $3500 and I have big plans for it. It came pretty well equipped already.
Specs:
Toyota 4Runner SR5, 12/85
2.4 Litre Diesel 5 speed, IFS
- Bullbar
- 4 roof mounted forward spotties
- 2 roff mounted side spotlights
- 4 bar mounted spotties
- Diff breather extensions, front and rear, into filters in engine bay
- Extractor's
- Home made snorkel
- Home made towbar and rear bar work
- 31" x 10.5" x 15" mud terrains on chrome steel rims
- Flares
- Now has standard open diff at the back since I have broken the locker!!!
- CD player and 4 speakers
- CB radio
- UHF radio
And it has Red Flames, and white Pearl paint.
Furture Mods:
In the order they will be done....
- 2 inch body lift (IFS so can't do much with front suspension for a lift there)
- 33" tyres, mud terrain
- 4.8 ratio diff's
- Locked rear diff and LSD front diff
- New thin crossmember under transfer case (can get extra 2" of clearance!)
- Rear wheel carrier, swing away, incorporating tow bar
- Better spotties on bullbar
- Some sort of power increase. At the moment thinking just a turbo, but other possibilities are a supercharger, or a different motor (like 2.8L or 3.0L diesel)
- Live axle front end conversion
