I live in Melbourne about 10km east of the CBD. The neighborhood encompasses parks, bike paths and trees-lined streets. A few minutes walk away is a bustling intersection with news-agents, greengrocers, bakery and coffee shop.

I’m also about five minutes cycling from my partner Judi’s home. We shared her abode for a while but our respective broad drove us to despair. Before that we shunted back and forth between our respective homes which were a few suburbs apart. That is just one of modern life’s complicated tales. Judi works near-by technical institute where she teaches apprentice cooks.

Judi’s daughter Lauren goes to the same secondary college as my middle son Nick. My younger son Liam walks to the local primary school. I’ve an elder son, Chris who resides on the other side of town.

I work for the State Human Services Department as child protection worker. It usually takes me about half an hour depending on traffic. Occasionally, when I‘m motivated and weather’s appealing I cycle, which I can do in 60 minutes. My formal education includes a Diploma of Youth Welfare and BA in Public Administration at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. I also completed a Grad. Dip.in Economics at the University of New England, NSW. My hobbies including cycling, swimming, attending plays, seeing movies, writing, catching trains and loitering around coffee shops.
