At Hawthorn we emphasise all the aspects of judo.

These are the recipients of the overall and encouragement awards for 2006
Our junior classes cater for all levels from beginner to advanced. We concentrate on form work as well as competition work. The students learn theory and a number of Japanese words which helps them in their understanding of the names of the techniques. Students are encouraged to compete in the monthly competitions run by Judo Victoria as well as our own two inhouse competitions.
Our senior class caters for a range of ages and abilities. Our youngest is 16 and our oldest is 62. We all work together to help each person achieve their full potential.
