Started on the Internet
Once
you have logged onto the net, you have 4 main options

Click in the
'Address' or 'Location' window near the top of your browser and
type in a new internet address. This will usually be a www.........
The address must be typed exactly correctly. Then hit the 'Enter'
key

Choose
one of your 'Favorites' (or 'Bookmarks' in Netscape)
Tip: When you are looking at an internet page that you would like to
return to, click 'Favorite' then 'Add Favorite'. Give it a name that
you will identify. Click 'OK' |

Search
for subjects on the internet. Click 'Search' from our homepage and use
any of these search engines. They all search for information in different
ways, and display the answers in different formats. Simply use the one
that you prefer. |

Email
In 'Internet Explorer' click the 'Mail' button, then 'Read Mail'.
This will start 'Outlook Express'. This will automatically check for
any new mail as it opens. To send a new message, click on the 'New
Message' button. You will need to include a correct email address,
a subject, and then type your message. When you are finished, click
'Send'
