More information on Imp Sports can be found at The Supreme Sunbeam and at Franka's Imp site (see links above). Russell's Imp is Rootes Midnight Blue in colour. He has had it since the late eighties and finished restoring it in 1992. Some useful additions include an Ivan Tighe camshaft, Janspeed exhaust manifold, 13" x 6" Superlite wheels, Spax adjustable shock absorbers, Monte Carlo springs and a front radiator. He also fitted a Cobra Classic seat because every time he went round a corner he fell out of the old one.

Again more information on Alpines can be found at The Supreme Sunbeam. It was purchased
in 1990 and has since been repainted in British Racing Green. It has a Weber carburettor and an Alpine Sports exhaust manifold.
A convertible top has also been fitted (the GT did not come with one). It runs on 14" x 6" Superlite wheels with 185/65 Yokohama A539 tyres. Russell's Alpine is said to have some sort of racing history, although he has never been able to confirm this.
