She is fetched from a chestnut stallions's herd by Lightning when Baringa accompanied Lighning on his expedition to claim her. When neither Lightning or the chestnut stallion wins, she follows Lighning and Baringa away, but loses track of Baringa when he leaves them, forcing her to remain with Lightning. She totally devoted to Baringa. She leaves Lightning's heard to search out the mysterious Baringa by herself. Eventually Benni the Kangaroo brings Baringa to her and she joins his herd. She is the same age as Baringa, and played with him when Thowra and the two silver colts passed through her sire, Son of Storm's herd on their way south. She is a direct throwback to Yarraman.
