In mid-2006 Meliki trained and worked as a beating mixing function dj when not playing live. With her strong background as a dance band musician she was immediately appreciated for her music repertoire knowledge and ability to read the audiences music preferences.

Using her own PA/lights, Meliki is fully functional as an independent freelance function dj. She combines this service with her solo live acts for weddings and functions.

She can provide dance music for 18ths, 21sts, parties, engagements, weddings and corporate events in combination with her classical guitar suitable for wedding ceremonies and ambient cocktail/dinner music or contempoary vocal/guitar music, or a combination of all three.
