14 Years and Under – All rounds 7 minutes each speaker. Three speakers to a team with a fourth if required

17 Years and Under – All rounds 8 minutes each speaker. Three speakers to a team with a fourth if required.

• Competition runs as a knockout
• Generally two weeks between debates
• Debates held at4.00pm and 5.00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Competition to commence in may 20010

Public Speaking

14 Years and Under – Prepared (4 minute speech) and Impromptu sections run as separate competitions

17 Years and Under – Prepared (7 minute speech) and Impromptu sections run as separate competitions

• Topic of your own choice
• Public Speaking held on Thursday afternoons with the prepared at 4.00pm and the Impromptu to follow
• Heats and Finals in both competitions
• Competition to commence in May 2010
