RULES

| 3. |
Competitors must
compete in their own age and level only and compete at their own risk
and that the organisers
of the St George Eisteddfod will not be held liable for any accident
or injury occurring during this competition to any competitor or person
accompanying the competitor. |
| 4. |
Where sections
are cancelled competitors will be moved to the next age group in the
same level but may only compete in one age group for point score trophy.

Age of competitors
to be taken as at date of competition. |
| 6. |
No refund unless
"no dance" declared. |
| 7. |
Protests must
be made in writing and handed to the Secretary with $5.00 within 48
hours of the announcement of results. Should protest be deemed frivolous,
money will be forfeited. |
| 8. |
Any competitor
who has been taught or advised by adjudicators during 3 months prior
to competition shall not be eligible to compete. |
| 9. |
All trophy and
pointscore winners must be in Highland Dress for presentation of prizes.

| 10. |
Dancers must
be registered with a state or regional committee to be eligible to
compete. No prize will be awarded unless registration card is presented
on day of competition. |
| 11. |
Video equipment
may be used provided permission has been obtained from the organiser
and adjudicators. Judges decision cannot be subject to a video replay
(ABHDI ruling 1984). |
| 12. |
Prizes will be
awarded on the following scale: 3 competitors - 1 prize; 5 - 2 prizes,
8 - 3 prizes; 12 - 4 prizes;
16 or more - 5 prizes. |
| 13. |
Reels: If a competitor
fails to fill in unless for a medical reason, the Organiser has the
right to enforce Rule 1(f), Page 18 D-Judges, SOBHD Rules and Regulations.
During the course of this competition the comportment of the competitors
may come under the jurisdiction of the judges, not only whilst dancing
but also when entering or leaving the platform and whilst waiting
for the dance to start. Any unseemly behavior on the part of the competitor
or any misdemeanor likely to upset the decorum of the proceedings
may be penalised by the judges and could lead to disqualification,
but a full report on any such misconduct on the part of a competitor
must be submitted by the judges to the organiser. |
