INDEPENDENT LIVING CENTRE (ILC) A.C.T. - HOW IT OPERATES.

The ILC is essentially a display, information, and assessment and advisory service. It is not a salesroom as such. This is how it operates -

Each item displayed in the Centre has a yellow tag attached to it. The tag has a unique reference number.

If you see something you are interested in take a note of the reference number and give it to the assistant at the inquiry counter. They will enter the number in the computer and search the data base.

If required, a hand-out will be printed. This document will give you details of where the item can be purchased, often a picture, dimensions, and approximate cost.
