This is a Spanish dwarf variety olive and provides an early harvest. It is an attractive evergreen tree and favoured for both the olives and the oil.

It is considered a grower of medium vigour and the plants compact shape makes it ideal for backyards. The foliage has tones of grey and green and the flowers are small and white, while the fruit is small and green - brown.

Olives are hardy plants that require little work. The Arbequina can grow to several metres in height and is well suited to be kept in a pot.
