GOLF
Tasmania hosts over 75 golf courses. Most are 9 holes. There are 12 18 hole courses. Three on the north west coast, 4 in Launceston and 5 in and around Hobart. All 75 courses are playable all year round and have good quality greens and fairways. Each of the 18 hole courses has their own attraction and characteristics.

We have covered the 4 courses in Launceston at this stage. The 2003 Australian Veterans Golf championships will be played on the courses in November 2003.
